Incoerência indie

Final de ano. Final de década. E várias revistas estão publicando as suas listas com os melhores discos dos 00. O semanário inglês NME, voltado para o mercado indie rock, já fez a sua:

Tirando Strokes (cujo primeiro lugar foi óbvio), Radiohead e White Stripes, o que mais me chamou atenção foi o não aparecimento de outras bandas com perfil alternativo e que também gravaram bons discos durante a década, fazendo bastante sucesso: The Killers, Coldplay e Franz Ferdinand. Talvez a não inclusão desses grupos tenha a ver com o patamar pop alcançado por cada um deles, mas isso não impediu que os já citados Strokes, Radiohead e White Stripes, e que outros "figurões" como Blur, Jay-Z, Amy Winehouse e Johnny Cash, fizessem parte da lista. Não entendi.
